Prayer Melodies

The prayers are music. Here are some of the melodies. We will add more later.

Avinu ['Our Father,' Yeshua's prayer from Matthew 6:19-13]

This is sung in all three prayer times. When the Amidah is prayed, it is sung immediately before Oseh Shalom (see Oseh Shalom below). For Ma'ariv without Amidah, sing this and Oseh Shalom right after the Hashkivenu prayer ("Lay us down to sleep").

Our Father Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
Lead us not into temptation,
Deliver us from all evil.
Lead us not into temptation,
Deliver us from all evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom
and the power and the glory,
Forever and ever. Amen.
In the Name of Yeshua our Righteousness.
Forever and ever. Amen.
In the Name of Yeshua our Righteousness.

Sung either during the Amidah in the Petition for Peace or at the end of the Kaddish, immediately before the words:

He Who makes peace in His heights, may He make peace upon us and upon all Israel, now respond: Amein.

Oseh shalom bim'romav
Hu ya'aseh shalom aleinu
V'al kol Yisrael, v'imru Amein.

(2x)

Y'aseh shalom, ya'aseh shalom
